  - despite a rule that dogs need to be tied up, it's not enforced. We had several incidences of other dogs coming into our campsite (including the owner's dog).

  My family and I stayed 10 days at this campground this July. Absolutely beautiful location and lake. The price is incredible considering our sites were right on the lake with private docks.

  - the bathrooms are IMMACULATE. Really, they're super clean and not once during our stay, even though the weekend had the campground FULL, were they messy.

  Our second bi-annual family reunion was just wonderful; Ed and Heather are really hardworking outstanding hosts and accommodated us to the extreme! This resort has everything we needed for a successful reunion! The shower/bathroom building was spotless and we really appreciated the gray/black water portable service. Amenities galore, thank you, and we have already booked for 2018!

  We kayaked to the island and hiked around before setting of on a scenic journey in the kayaks we rented.

  Would I go back? Definitely. The few annoyances are really things I'd imagine we'd encounter pretty much anywhere. And the price, gorgeously clean location, and overall experience far out-weigh them. I would love to see a no smoking rule though.
